SEN & Inclusion at Bilingual Primary School
The Bilingual Primary School are very proud to offer our inclusive and immersive bilingual programme to a wide range of pupils with additional needs & SEND. We have worked closely with a range of professionals to ensure pupils are supported in all areas of the curriculum whether taught in English or Spanish and make sure we reduce and remove barriers to learning. Our inclusive approach is integrated into our ordinarily available provision, whole school policies and practice. We follow a rigorous plan, do, review process to support pupils with additional needs to make the best possible progress.
Information about the support on offer is published in our SEND Information Report. Please see our SEN policy to find more detail about our procedures.
The purpose of our SEND Information Report is to inform parents and carers about:
- How we welcome children with special educational needs and/or disabilities into the Bilingual Primary School;
- How we support them in all aspects of school life and remove barriers to achievement;
- How we work in close partnership with parents/carers and children;
- How we make effective provision for all of our children with special educational needs and disabilities – SEN/D.
We keep our SEN Information Report under review, and it is updated annually.
Below are our core SEN & Inclusion policies , Access Plan and SEN pathway documents and information on some of our core inclusion approaches.
Who to Contact
For any queries or concerns about anything to do with your child’s learning, emotional, medical, behavioural, social needs or family issues that may be having an effect upon your child, please speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance. Your child’s class teacher may arrange a further meeting with the SENDCo to discuss issues and plan to resolve them.
If you would like any information about how your child might be supported at our school, you can also contact the inclusion team directly at:
